Preproduction
We finalize the details for filming day: your chosen questions, filming locations, items or heirlooms to include, and the lighting and background setup.

Production
Filming day is relaxed and professional: an interview guided by personalized questions, plus b-roll of meaningful details, with breaks whenever you need them.

Postproduction
We edit everything into a polished film with colour correction, b-roll, music, titles and transitions, with up to three rounds of revisions.
Most legacy videos are completed 6 to 8 weeks from filming day, with expedited options available.

How long does a legacy video take?
We usually take 6 to 8 weeks from your filming day to create your Legacy Video, so each step is carefully executed to preserve your family’s history. Need it sooner? Expedited editing is available at an additional cost.
That covers consultation and planning, preproduction, filming, editing with your review and revisions, and final delivery with colour correction and sound optimization.
How do I place an order?
Start by booking a free consultation, or reach out to us directly through our Contact Us page. We’ll discuss your vision, objectives and the specific stories you wish to capture.
Afterward, we’ll provide you with a custom quote and guide you through the next steps to begin creating your Legacy Video.
Can I ask for changes?
Yes. We offer up to three drafts so your Legacy Video perfectly captures your vision. You can request changes within one week of receiving a draft. After this period, additional revisions may incur extra charges.
Can we include our own photos and videos?
Yes, we encourage it. Incorporating your own photos and videos enriches the storytelling and ensures the final product authentically represents your family’s history.
How will I receive the finished video?
Digital download: included with every legacy video, a high-quality digital file via a secure download link, so you can view and share it across devices.
USB flash drive: included with every legacy video, a tangible keepsake that’s ideal for archiving and easy playback on compatible devices.
Extra USB copies and shipping may incur additional fees.
How do I play the video file?
Your legacy video is delivered in a universal MP4 or MOV format, so it’s easy to watch on any device.
On a computer: double-click the file to open it in your default media player. On a smart TV: transfer it to a USB drive, or connect a laptop with an HDMI cable.
For events: we provide a downloadable link and a QR code that can be printed on cards for guests. On a phone or tablet: tap the file or link to play instantly, or download it for offline viewing.
